"The manager (female) of Casa Muru is so unfriendly and “Karen” like in nature that more than 5 of the neighboring restaurants, cafes, and stores warned me about her, and respectively expressed how difficult it was to communicate or cooperate with her."

"I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay after trekking or touring the Maras salt mines, the Sacred Valley, or Machu Picchu. We stayed here after our four-day trek on the Inca Trail. The staff were friendly and very accomodating, the property is beautiful, the beds are very comfy, the water pressure is amazing, the hot tub experience was divine, the views are spectacular, and the food was wonderful. "From dealing with Maribel in the beginning then with Araceli, the customer service was out of this world, the property was in excellent shape, the area safe to walk and plenty of transportation is availabe around the area"

"The room is very clean and modern looking. The extreme downside is it has no heating, AC or any type of ventilation. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating, and kept our luggage while we traveled to Machu Picchu.. "

"Excellent value for the money. Excellent staff, good space for dining, lounge. Convenient location, safe. Had two different rooms. First a classic triple, spacious, big bathroom. But window to corridor above bed ?! made it hard to sleep, plus could hear anyone walking in corridor. Second was deluxe studio with nice jacuzzi. Much better for sleeping. Breakfast excellent due to fresh fruits. Guests apparently from a wide variety of countries, practical types. Were very happy staying there. "
