"We enjoyed our stay @ Safari Plains. Arriving we were received by such friendly faces. The Luxury Tented Chalet we stayed in were overlooking the field where the game came to graze. We enjoyed the morning & afternoon game drives with the well informed guide, Ben. On our first night we had an open air dinner prepared by the chef and staff, it was amazing! We most definately recommend a stay at this 5 star lodge it will be an experience you'll never forget. ALL the staff made our stay fantastic. "

"The worst experience of our lives, we arrived at the lodge on the 31st of December 2021 it was new years eve and the lodge invited us to some bring and braai end of the year party somewhere at the lodge, we were to bring our own meat while they provide the pap and gravy. "This is the most beautiful stay I’ve experienced. The location is secluded from the main lodge so you feel the extra peace and quiet. That staff are incredibly helpful and friendy. The food? Chef Johannes deserves his flowers, it was incredible. I highly recommend and will definitely be back"

"The reserve was stunning. Saw plenty of wildlife despite relatively low game density. The food was great considering the size of the buffet. The property was nice but maybe too modern for a true safari experience. I was most disappointed that it wasn’t as family friendly as advertised. The child center was under construction, the pools were not heated, there were no activities for young children nor was there food catered towards young children. "
