"The staff were so helpful and flexible. We knew only very broken Japanese but they used their translator or tried their best to figure out what we were saying. The room was clean and more spacious than expected. It is a traditional ryokan style and we were served wonderful dinner in their restaurant. They provided yukatas but I wasn't able to figure out how to get the obis and was too shy to ask. It was 10 minute walk from the beach and the aquarium. "The onsens were really great. Awesome breakfast, worth the extra cost. Moderate twin family room has 2 beds , 1.5 twin size. Not small as a twin, but not big as a double bed. Manga room massage chairs and free use space room were all great touches . The Lawson and bus stop across the street were super handy. 10 minute walk to Mito Station . Perfect for a stay in Mito! Will return! "

When we booked the room for ten days I thought breakfast was included. I asked a front desk attendant if breakfast was included and was told yes it is included for registered guest.
