Top Mitchellville Hotel Reviews
Hilton Des Moines Downtown
8/10 Good
"I’ve stayed here previously and have always had a great stay. This trip, upon checking into the room, I found a pair of women’s spanx on the floor near the curtains. Staff were helpful with removing the garment but probably shouldn’t have been missed with cleaning."
Stoney Creek Hotel Des Moines - Johnston

"Great breakfast, very clean, spacious and lots of amenities. Good and easy location too right off freeway"
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Des Moines Airport
8/10 Good
"Very clean property. Access was a little confusing but we got it done. Quiet rooms. Small rooms but manageable. Worth the rate charged."
Holiday Inn Downtown - Mercy Area by IHG

"Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the bar on first floor and availability of morning breakfast Sunday."
Hotel Fort Des Moines, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"What a beautiful hotel, very accommodating when I ask them for more towels and shampoo(I have long hair and lots of it). Breakfast was so delicious. The bar was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. My room was clean if there is one negative sound travels and I was awaken pretty early possibly because my room was in the back of the hotel."
Comfort Inn & Suites Event Center
10/10 Excellent
"This Comfort Inn location is located in a prime location, walking distance to various attractions. Clean, quiet and safe. Staff is stellar and rooms are clean and comfortable. We visited for the Des Moines Marathon and will return for future endeavors. Thank you for the great stay!"
Embassy Suites Hotel Des Moines Downtown

"My room had dirty carpet, and hair on the floor (not mine) Also there was an old coffee pod in the maker when I went to use it Sunday morning. The food I got from the lounge was good though."
Des Moines Marriott Downtown

"It was very nice"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Des Moines Downtown by IHG
8/10 Good
"Unfortunately the pool was closed for remodel which we didn’t know prior but the staff at the front desk was very helpful and let the kids have a treat as a conciliation. The shuttle was so convenient to have as a part of our stay so we could just enjoy our visit. Room was clean and it was nice they came in and brought fresh towels. Most places don’t even provide that anymore."
