"The staff here was amazing. Shonna and Theresa on front desk were so nice and helpful. Roxy was so sweet and kind. The breakfast every morning was great, especially biscuits and gravy. The hotel was perfectly situated practically on the beach. "

"Don't go there. I booked a nonsmoking room at Twin Star Lodge a week in advance. When I arrived they moved me down the street to the Star Lodge where they only had a smoking room.The bathroom light didn't work, but there were four whole cigarette tracks burned into the shower base (Who does that?). The air conditioner was falling off the wall.There are inexpensive alternatives on the beach. Shame on Expedia for listing this place!"

"Pool was the only activity on site, it was outside, unshaded. I never saw anyone in the pool. Didnt seem very welcoming. Internet was super slow, i called front desk twice to let them know the screen was black but there was sound. The response was "just wait". I ended up playing technician and fixed it ourselves. We also had a MASSIVE stench in our room from the moment we arrived. We told the front desk to where they gave us all kinds of excuses like "its the heater, the air filter, theres no smoking (accusing us of smoking)" to the extent of them pretending that the call was disconnected, i stayed on the line and continued to say hello until someone responded. The description of the smell was like a heavy pesticide mixed with pot. It was so heavy i couldnt breathe. I went to walmart and got lysol aerosol to air out the room. The worst part, i had to spray down the room EVERY TIME I ENTERED the room for the night. NOTHING was done by staff UNTIL the LAST day i stayed. I couldnt go elsewhere as everything was booked. "

"Shower curtain looked like someone had either thrown up on it or it was poop. Under the microwave was dirty with some kind of dried up liquid, shower had hair on the tub and there was dirt and hair around the base of the toilet closes to the tub. Otherwise the room where the bedding was was clean."

"Great location, right across from the beach. Pet friendly. Rooms are dated and have some cosmetic issues but pool is in good condition. The lack of a coffee maker in the room was a disappointment. Also, there are no elevators so be sure to ask for a first floor room if you have mobility issues. Super friendly staff at the front desk and two adjacent restaurants give a dine in discount if you show your room key card. "

"Yes the parking was great! The only thing is no access to the pool and we thought itll be better to have a better view onstead of being to the back but other than that everything else was awesomeness!"
