"The property is at the foot of the mountains so there's some steps going from the rooms to the restaurant and to the pool area. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant is very good but it's only open until 3pm, after that it's a pizzeria only but the pizzas are made from scratch (expect a little wait time) and are delicious. If you intend on eating breakfast there, go early when it opens. Will definitely go back. "

"Based upon visits to other Brazilian cities, I was much more impressed with the overall condition of the city - neatness, paved streets, walkability. This seemed to carry over to the hotel as it was very well maintained. The staff was friendly and showed pride in their employment. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shower had hot water. A working mini-fridge was nice! Mini-bar products were very reasonably priced. "
