"You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it. The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. I don't believe it is open for lunch. Another reason you need a car. During check in I noticed a large hose slightly larger than a dryer hose going into one of the rooms down the hallway. I inquired about it and the staff said it was for construction. After checking into our downstairs room which was very nice ( the hotel is a beautiful property with beautiful views of the vineyards and countryside) we went for a walk on the property. We noticed a red truck in the courtyard with a hose going inside the hotel. This was the hose I saw earlier. The truck said Heatwork, Rentokil. My wife believed it was for the killing of bedbugs. We left the next day one day earlier than our planned stay and were not given a refund. The hotel did not answer or reply to my calls or email when asking for a refund for the one night. In summary, a great place to stay if you have a car and just want to chill at the pool."

"The property is breathtaking. The views, walking paths, history- everything is beautiful and peaceful. Although room was small, we didn’t spend much time inside- so many things to enjoy outside. We had garden view rooms and it had a very beautiful porch with roses. The whole property is very well maintained, and not touristy at all. Peace and quality everywhere .Dinner was lovely."
