Hotels near Minuteman Missile National Historic Site

"I was driving through for our road trip my Bestfriend and I. Picked this property to stay at. The check-in process wasn’t too bad. Got all checked in and then proceed to our room. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and there was dried throw up on the walls and floor. I was absolutely disgusted and still is. I went and talked with the front desk (which was the manager) the next morning. She said I should have call. At 2am I’m not thinking. I’m barely awake. That there is nothing she can do because she was getting a complaint anyway. After check out and a few hours later. I get a random charge for $250 on my credit card. I called the property and lady at the front desk said it was for a pet charge. My Bestfriend or I did not have a pet. She said there is nothing she can do and I would have to call the manager. Which I did right after getting off the phone. And have yet to hear back from her. Overall the experience was less than ideal. "

"Our stay was off-season so not real busy, but room was ready and clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was nutritious and filling. Coffee was great too!"

"The staff here is efficient and friendly. All things are in working condition. While this hotel has some obvious age on it as does the furnishings and linens the units provide a comfortable and serviceable stay. The included breakfast has many options which should meet most guests pallet. There are dining establishments close by as well as gas stations it is right off the interstate."

"We stayed for two nights at the Days Inn in Wall SD. The woman at the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our king bed room was fine, until we wanted to run the AC. It never cooled down. It was a very warm day (81) and the room was very hot. Also quite disappointed in the shower. Low water pressure and very slow drain, for both the shower and the sink. Breakfast was sufficient, but started a bit later than most other hotels I’ve stayed in. "

"Very friendly staff and we were happy they were actually open in the off season. Very few amenities and there were some odd things (like only outlets on one side of the bed) but overall it was a nice place. Convenient to have a door directly outside with a dog "

"No one at the hotel, AT ALL, office doors locked, lights out, no instructions, phone number, nothing. Called the hotel number listed online, no answer, no voicemail. Out of desperation we called the other hotel at this exit to see if they had a room, they didn't. In conversation, they said "oh we own that hotel too, you can check in over here" (across the highway). Same deal with icemaker and breakfast, "you can come across the highway to get ice and breakfast." We'll never get off at the Kadoka exit again..."
