Top Minneapolis Sculpture Garden Hotel Reviews
The Lofton Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"We were looking for a hotel close to target field for convenience, and this hotel is about as good as you can get. Didn’t even need to go outside to walk to the stadium since the skyway goes right to the hotel. Also super close to the metro, so it was easy to jump on and go other places. "
"Hotel seems like it might have been recently updated as it was in great shape. Room was excellent and the front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, breads/bagels/etc) and there were plenty of tables to sit at.
The only thing I would warn people about is the parking. It's not Hampton parking, but a city lot that is connected via a covered walkway (so very convenient). They charged us an "event parking" rate for Friday night even though it didn't appear there were any events (no concerts we could see, no sporting events) so we had to pay $25 no matter how long we parked. We left the lot Saturday morning and came back and parked Saturday afternoon. No more "event parking" so it cost us $5 to park until Sunday morning"
Rand Tower Hotel , Minneapolis, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is nothing torwards the hotel. Parking is 40 dollars for 24 hours. This Parking garage at 40 dollars is the most convenient but if a pwrson willing to walk a couple blocks. It would be cheaper to park. The Rand hotel is worth the walk. "
"Nice, quiet hotel. I would bring my family here. Wish that there were better snack options in the lobby shop. I think soup, salad and sandwiches or other healthy options would have kept us spending more on-site with the convivence. That being said there are MANY options for local restaurant delivery to the hotel. Also, there should be some sort of outdoor ashtrays. We saw people drop butts on the ground after looking for ashtrays."
