"The room was very clean and quiet, bed and shower great. If you book, make sure you get one of the larger rooms if you can as smaller rooms can be quite tight in size. Lady at reception was super helpful. Combi van coffee in reception very reasonably priced."

"I loved my stay in this fabulous old hotel! Great atmosphere, bit quirky and amenities old (I stayed in a room with a bathroom down the hall) but it was clean and grand with heaps of character. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Grounds are a slightly overgrown mysterious adventure. Will come back."

"Don't take shared bathroom room as there is no bathroom at first floor and only second floor. There is bar ground floor, very busy and noisy. Friday and Sunday they have live music which runs around 12 I think, so difficult to sleep till that time. Rooms are well maintained, bed was cosy. Just linens you get and no extra amenities. Location is perfect. The receipensionist was very helpful and listening, helped us with our issues very efficiently."
