Scoodic Motel

"The room was nice and clean! I liked that the room had a mini fridge and microwave. Parking was not great; we were asked to "park" out front, away from the door to our room, because it's gets busy in the evening with people checking in. We checked in early (as soon as we were able). Went to look around some, have supper; came back and someone else was in our parking spot. Had to park out front and walk all the way across the yard to get to our room. At least it wasn't raining."

"The room was extremely clean. It was a good one night stopping point on our way back to Maine from PEI. There was a very small continental breakfast which included oatmeal, but no microwave to make it and no staff present. As I said, good for a short stay. VERY CLEAN!"

"The Coach Inn is a wonderfully unique place to stay. The whole property is filled with antiques, giving it a warm historic feel, and the people running it are friendly, interesting, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Every room is set up in its own artistic style, making the stay feel personal and memorable. There are no TVs, but the Wi‑Fi works well, and the peaceful atmosphere is a nice change from typical hotels. The breakfast room is beautiful and a highlight of the visit. The location is also excellent — close to everything you’d want to explore in the area. Overall, it was a lovely stay with great character and hospitality."

"Very close to alot of little hidden gems. Best night sleep, mattress was very comfortable. Didn't like doing the stairs but I ate too much so it helped burn off some of it."

"The room was decorated nicely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is downtown so very convenient to walk to stores, restaurants and the wharf. A very nice place to stay!"
Kennedy House

"Place is a bit dingy - stale smell in halls (but, hey, it's an old historic hotel). Price a bit high for quality - friend's air conditioner held up by wooden boards. Lots of raucous drinking in bar below (but not rowdy or unpleasant). However, right downtown - next to fabulous restaurants - and possibly the friendliest, kindest staff we've ever encountered."
