"We had a wonderful 12 days in residence 1, a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with kitchenette. The view from the balcony was absolutely fabulous! It was a joy to sit out and look over Isola Bella beach! The grounds are beautiful and lush with well maintained gardens and the pool area was perfect! "It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it...

"Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! "Luxurious apartment newly decorated private living room with excellent kitchen great view silent place at 5th floor with lift ! Reception very helpful thank You Eduardo . "The free breakfast is amazing. The views oh my!!!! The beach is sweet and the pool nice. Free shuttle services was a game changer too. Anything we needed we got it. Fresh orange juice and champagne in the morning with a coffee machine that was holy cow. Friendly folks in top of everything!!!!"

"This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool."

"When you first walk in, it’s very lovely. The staff is excellent. The area with the beautiful pool overlooking the water the very nice private beach and the facilities are top notch and the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. They make you omelettes and pancakes, which is very unusual for an Italian hotel. Only a couple of negatives, which was the parking that’s not on the hotel premises, but you have to walk about 100 m outside the hotel and the soundproofing of the room. You can hear the people in the hallway outside of your room talking, which makes me think they can also hear us inside our room. Overall, though I would rate this as definitely a hotel that will not disappoint. And I will definitely return back."
