"Older hotel that can benefit from some updating but clean. The beds are a little uncomfortable. The breakfast area needs to be larger to accommodate more people and also have more food options."

"Super fun theming and atmosphere! Definitely a unique experience. The only downside I would say is be careful what you are booking. A "couples caboose" is only half of a caboose and very tight to where one person has to move to let the other person be able to walk by. The pictures on the website don't tell you which caboose they go with and you don't know which one you're getting until you check in. Otherwise it was neat and I loved having the Strasburg railroad go right past!"

"The room was clean. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, so be prepared to carry everything. When the rooms were redone, they ignored things like old dirty grout and caulk, poorly patched walls, an old toilet and tub. Breakfast was available and basic but had great waffles. Plenty of parking."

"This hotel was almost perfect. It was a great room. The size of a studio apartment for less than what a lot of places charge for a standard room. The entire hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable and actually had full sized pillows instead of the small square ones most places have. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, this hotel had one major fault. It is only about three hundred yards away from the highway off ramp. The noise was very loud and never stopped day or night. It was almost impossible to sleep because of the traffic noise especially semi trucks and motorcycles. I realized there's nothing the hotel management can do about the noise. It isn't their fault the highway is so close. That's why I still rate this place a 4 out of five stars. I loved everything about the hotel except it's location. Unfortunately because of the noise I would not chose this place again. It's sad to say this because everything else about the place is almost perfect."

"My stay was so welcoming and friendly by all the staff. Front desk staff were so helpful with locating resources and Greg who picked us up from the train station was plenty helpful and kind. The room was clean and breakfast was yummy. Will come back in the future."
