Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "Wonderful…smiles from all the staff when they see you and everyone is happy to help in any way. The night Porter was very helpful and friendly, the reception team couldn’t do enough and the breakfast staff went the extra mile! We forgot our robes from the room but the spa team were kind and gave us spares. The spa isn’t quite as opulent as the photos, but the service more than makes up for it, Comfy beds, great shower, delicious breakfast all in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend for a stay in Cornwall, with easy access the south coast. Will be recommending to friends and family "

"Our stay overall was excellent except on the first morning when the lady serving breakfast was quite abrupt. Our room was spotless as was the en suite. Breakfast and dinner had a varied menu and again both excellent. Free parking on site and an easy walk to the town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel for their high standards and friendly staff."
