"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. "The hotel has the most amazing view. It sits high above the sea so when you want to go to town there are quite a few steps to go down but the parking is on the same level as the reception. You must book parking ahead. My only complaint is there is no air conditioning so the lounge and restaurant gets warm on hot days. Our room was downstairs so was quite cool and there is a fan you can use which we did. Overall we had a wonderful time at the hotel and in Fowey."

"The room had no ventilation, the towels were too old and worn while the bar area stunk of urine. The staff were brilliant I couldn’t have asked for more. In the early hours of Friday morning around 2am, a domestic violence incident occurred in room 2 that frightened me hearing a woman screaming and doors being slammed and man in pursuit of her. This was a real moment of fright."
