"Staff was not helpful when live music was blaring through my hotel room walls late at night. When called the front desk he basically told me “too bad”…….. I was offered a new room the next night. Room was adequate, fairly clean. Needs better lighting close to mirrors. The restaurant had some issues with not enough staff to take care of all the patrons. It was very clear they were frustrated, however, it’s not their fault, it’s the fault of the management for not staffing properly. "

"Our favorite hotel stay in Ireland! Friendly helpful staff! Comfy bed and pillows! Our room was decorated so quaint and it was clean and cozy. Loved the robes provided for shower. It was a couple days before my daughter’s birthday and they left her a birthday note with fine chocolates. Would definitely stay here again!!!!! Great hotel! "

"It was exactly what I was looking for, right in the heart of the town and close to everything. Even though the city was lively, my room was very quiet thanks to excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful with my requests. "

"Lovely ocean front hotel. Incredibly dated with no updates. Bathroom and shower were abysmal - mildew everywhere - door won’t stay open and zero ventilation. If you want a steam room with mildew then they have a bathroom for you. Pool was nice except for the mildew. Would stay here again if they get their bathroom situations dealt with, otherwise this hotel is a no for me. It was also the most expensive hotel (out of five) that we stayed at but not worth the expense. You’ll pay a premium for the ocean front - but the hotel itself is just not good at all. "

"This was an easy check in and check out process. The staff had amazing recommendations for things to do in Galway and restaurants. Right of Quay and not a far walk from the bus/train station. Highly recommend "

"Main issue was that the hotel charges residents for parking. This is just unacceptable. They offer a reduced parking rate for guests but just not good enough. Should be included with room. When I complained upon check in. they removed the fee. Also attended a ball at the hotel. Know mass produced meals will never be of high standard but their main course steak meal was of quite poor standard"
