"Friendly staff"

"I was not satisfied. The rooms were not clean. Hair in the sink, fridge was not plugged in, coverletts on top of beds were dirty, bathtub was clogged, floors were dirty, shower head sprayed everywhere. "

"Parking felt safe. Hotel and room was clean but definitely older, some worn areas in carpets and baseboards. Pillows were terrible, hard and lumpy. Very few towels in pool area"

"The room and overall hotel was good. The breakfast was one of the best that we have ever had. Unfortunately all the public spaces had the air conditioning set way too high. It was so hot in any public areas. When everyone gathered for breakfast, it was uncomfortable."

"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "

"Overall the place seemed clean and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints are that the water pressure in the bathroom room was low and the water took forever to get hot as well as the body wash in the shower was completely empty- didn’t realize till I was already in the shower."

"They overbooked our queen room and put us in a single bed. In two rooms. Absolutely no amenities, no bed cover- only sheets, awful stay."
