"We enjoyed our stay at the Homestead. There was construction being done, but they had golf carts available with drivers to take us from our room to the parking lot or pool or wherever we needed to go on site. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was I thought we were getting a balcony room, but the balcony was really the hallway outside the front of the room, which to us was a walkway, not a balcony! We were looking forward to a private balcony out of the back of the room! We question them, but none of the rooms with the balcony in the back were available, which was disappointing. If you closed the drapes inside the room, it felt claustrophobic and dark!
We did enjoy the swimming pools, beautiful landscaping and the hot tubs. We also found time to swim in the crater, which was really fun and a must if you haven’t tried it before. The main dining restaurant wasn’t open yet, but we did have breakfast & snacks at the milkhouse. Mostly we ate offsite at other locations nearby. We will have to try it again after the complete remodel is done.!"
