"It needs to be said that Showboat is not a casino resort anymore, but much more geared towards families. Which is great, but if you are looking to stay in a casino resort, this is not the one for you. We upgraded to a ocean view King suite, and the room was great, but not perfect. There were some damages, and the shower looks great and the water pressure is great, it is not practical allowing for flooding of the bathroom floor. The tub is amazing, the mattress was top notch, and the views were breathtaking. Also, the TVs are unlocked to bring your Chromecast or fire stick, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay."

"They say that they have breakfast but most of the containers they have for breakfast were empty every morning during the breakfast time slot. Everyday they would have the exact same egg and sausage and some type of toast and oatmeal. The breakfast was extremely limited and we had to buy something outside to make in the room for our child because he couldn’t eat the breakfast provided. This should have been advertised in the booking because the was an unacceptable breakfast and I’ve never experienced this before with hotel breakfast. In addition to that, the cleanliness was questionable. The set of towels that we got were all stained with some mysterious stuff on them and when we asked for new ones, the same thing happened. Thankfully we brought our own towels because we were there for the beach, but having no clean towels is a problem. The room also had a strange smell when we first walked in and we had to spray perfume everywhere and even purchase air fresheners because of how bad the smell was. We will not be coming back to this hotel in the future."

"I love the redesign of the rooms however the towels and washcloths weren't cleaned properly due to hair being on them but my overall stay was very peaceful"
