We have stayed in the Richmond five times as we have always loved it unfortunately they have sold it and they’re going to bulldoze it in the next six months or so so it was uncared-for not clean I would not recommend staying here at all the food was good but you had to share your food with the pigeons

Property has been sold and is awaiting development. It’s becoming a mess. Eg: Rear gate access to the beach disabled, pool area now has junk on display, rooms are smelly, to check in you have to go into the hotel next door. It’s all a bit sad because this used to be a nice hotel. At least the owners got $83m for it. But really it has lost its charm. Maybe when renovated it will be nice again but for now I’d avoid.

Very friendly staff and a good bar menu. Happy hour 5-7 every evening was half price drinks. Pool very clean and there was always fresh towels. Would recommend this hotel to all

Average hotel. Old. Breakfast is terrible but nice room, clean and with good wifi and ac. Centrally located. Would not stay again here if I have other choices but overall it was fine for business
