A beautiful historic building in a great location, with clean, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and a very helpful, friendly staff. The only thing I wish they would improve is the breakfast selection, which could offer a bit more variety. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

Hotel was really nice and clean. Staff was super friendly. They do have a restaurant on the rooftop, but did not try. Breakfast in the AM was good. We had the presidential suite and its big, lots of space even with a rollaway bed. If you're catching a uber/taxi, just walk 100 ft to the street because the entrance to hotel can get busy at times due to parking lot next to hotel. Also just fyi, theres a little.park in front of hotel where people like to smoke weed. Didn't bother us at all nor did we ever feel unsafe. Definitely recommend this spot.

Gorgeous hotel with an exceptionally helpful staff and fantastic on-site restaurant. Outside the hotel can be chaotic and sometimes very noisy, but the hotel itself is a little oasis. Room was very nice and the maid service was top notch. On nights when there was music on the square in front of the hotel (Sunday) it could be a bit loud, but otherwise we had a great experience at Casa de la Luz.

We loved the food at both restaurants. The room was clean as was the entire property. Two days in to our 5 days stay the internet went down and I was unable to work remotely or do any schoolwork. It did not get repaired. The bed was less than comfortable and literally squeaked every time we moved. We tossed and turned all night and thus squeaked all night. The staff and atmosphere were amazing.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the Historic Downtown of MDCX. The property has been there since 1500's and was once a hospital. The architecture was absolutely gorgeous and like stepping back in time. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. The whole hotel was extremely well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast included every morning was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to those who are wanting to stay somewhere different. I would stay here again.
