"Excelsior Hotel's historic past and fabulous corner location makes it a wonderful place to enjoy the heart of Naples. The rooms are beautifully renovated, some with a tiny balcony overlooking the bay of Naples, are lovely. The hotel's roof-top bar has my favorite panoramic view of Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri. A wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing moment after a day of touring."

"The breakfast itself was fine. But the breakfast room was hot and claustrophobic with the doors and curtains closed. "
