"B&B Hotel Villingen-Schwenningen offers excellent value for money and is a great option for anyone looking for clean, comfortable accommodation in a convenient location.
The hotel was clean, well maintained, and ideally situated, making it easy to explore the local area. Our room had a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep, and overall we found the facilities to be exactly what we needed for our stay.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, creating a positive experience from check-in to departure.
The only area that could be improved is the pillows. They were too soft and offered very little support, which affected the overall comfort of the night's sleep. Providing guests with a choice of firmer pillows would be a welcome improvement.
Overall, this hotel delivers exactly what it promises: clean accommodation, a good location, friendly service, and excellent value for money. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again."
"Pleasant stay. Very helpful receptionist at check-in, explained everything and more! Attractive hotel with modern smart public areas. Room nothing special though but we were given a dual aspect room with a magnificent castle view (we had booked a non castle view room). Bathroom was massive with a huge shower stall (and nice toiletries) and had floor to ceiling windows with another view of the castle. Only flimsy paper blinds hid us from the public using the riverside path below!
Breakfast was fine in an large attractive dining area with extensive terrace and gardens beyond which were nice to use on the warm evenings to have drinks and enjoy the castle view. Breakfast staff were a bit off hand but the manager was friendly.
Car parking was free and it was a short walk into town. There is an Aldi Sud across the road to buy drinks and snacks (no room fridge) and the reception desk had a complimentary selection of sweets and fruit which was nice.
The hotel seems to be related business wise to the Bootshaus and Zum Marstall restaurants in town. We dined at both during our stay and they were both excellent."
"Probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The building is only a few years old. The suite was clean, quiet, comfortable, and huge. Ample room for a family of 4 with luggage. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff was very polite, professiinal, and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. The hotel is very quiet at night and the town goes to sleep at dark and you cannot hear any outside noise.
There is a wonderful bakery about 30 second walk from the hotel."
"Well managed clean, modern hotel. Good breakfast. Location is great if you have a car. Air conditioning was amazing in the hot weather. Spacious room"
"Smart room with good amenities including mini fridge. Car parking in covered garage joined to hotel at a reasonable cost of €7 per day.
Excellent breakfast buffet and friendly helpful staff."
"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice hotel, the young lady that checked us is was especially helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with a nice variety.i would 100% recommend this hotel."
"Modern converted mill, next to the train station.
Everything clean and tidy, apart from the supplied and much needed fan (No AC). It was full of hair and dust, not ideal really.
Had to sleep with windows open, during 35'c heat.
Check in was a bit of a faff with digital registration and needing passport images all before you got access to the code to let you in. (My code didn't arrive, so i had to call a helpful woman who sorted it for me)
In total took over 20min to "check in" at a time when you just wanted to drop your bags and rest."
