"The Hotel Belvedere is an excellent choice to stay In Taormina, Sicily. The property is perfectly located for easy access to shopping and restaurants. The hotel amenities are also excellent. And, the attention from the Staff stands above all other hotels. As an example, upon our arrival, there were four in our party, the host directed us to a sitting area, offered us a Pinot Grigio, and then took the time to orient us to the town, the restaurants, the shopping and the sites to see. What an excellent way to be welcomed."
"My Hotels.com VIP status was barely honored. I did receive a complementary bottle of wine and free wifi, but I did not receive a room upgrade or even a discussion as to why not. And, I did not receive free parking. Instead I was charged 25 Euros per night about $31 a night to park my rental car."
"We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room was lovely and clean. It's a very good location close to everything but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the evening. Amazing view from the rooftop with a nice selection of cocktails. We had breakfast only one morning (it's not included in the price!). Overall a good hotel if you are willing to pay the price. €34 for 2 cocktails, 36€ for 2 breakfast meals. It's a nice place but not cheap! "
"The property is dated. There are not enough outlets in the room to charge a couple of phones and tablets. Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. There are many, many stairs and steps, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. Do not eat in the restaurant. It is horrible. However, the view is spectacular, the pool is huge and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is okay so long as you stay away from the very cold scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon."
