"Everything about the Athens gate hotel was great! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy walk to plaka, the acropolis, all types of food, the city for buses stop very close. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. Room 501 has perfect view of the temple of Zeus and from the corner of the balcony you can see the Parthenon too. I don't think I'd ever want to stay anyplace else. The only minor thing is few power receptacles and none are dual voltage, only European plugs and none in the bathroom. The balcony door really blocks the traffic noise well. Can't recommend highly enough!"

"Loved this hotel. Rooms were very clean, hotel itself was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. They let us check in 3 hours early for no additional cost. Water and coffee was restock daily in our room and towels were changed everyday as well. We received an email from them a few days before we arrived asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. I asked for a 2nd blanket for the pull out bed as our kids would be sharing a bed and don't do well with sharing blankets. Not only did we have an extra blanket for them, but also extra pillows as well. Nice Central location, about a 20 minute walk from everything. Easy to get to by Metro from the airport. Breakfast was great although the selection was the same every day but I'm not going to complain to much about that. Rooms were a decent size and I would stay here again in the future if we come back to Greece."
