The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. "More like a motel than a hotel. No one present upon arrival. We found a workman at the back who phoned someone to open up. Surly and unhelpful, although there is a restaurant no food served Sunday evening or Monday morning."
