"Great location on the Spit.
Close to lots of food options.
A little hard to find as we didn’t receive the messages. And we weren’t expecting it to be above a tackle shop.
Great kitchenette. Fabulous views over the ocean.
Maybe a little more hanging space would be our only criticism.
Had a great time in Homer."
"The location was decent but everywhere smelled like cigarette smoke and there is a bar there so even though we were upstairs and away a bit, we heard people talking to all hours of the night. Would not stay again."
"We loved our stay here! Beautiful location and friendly, helpful staff made it even better. Loved the ease and privacy of using the hot tub. It did have a few jets they weren’t working properly, but worked well for two people. We stayed in mid ship loft king. Bedroom was upstairs and had comfortable king bed and amazing views from the balcony. We enjoyed eating next to the window and taking in the view. It had bath and sink area and living area down. Nice to have mini fridge with freezer and microwave and coffee maker. Coffee, mugs, and bath necessities are all available. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you to the two evening staff ladies that helped us so much!"
"I cannot recommend Alaska Adventure Cabins highly enough. Evelyn, the owner, communicated with me consistently for the past six months leading up to my trip, which made planning from across the country feel easy and stress-free.
When I arrived, everything was exactly as promised — spotless, welcoming, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The cabin had everything I needed, from wine glasses to the hot tub, and it immediately felt like a place where I could truly relax and settle in rather than just “stay.”
The view was absolutely unbelievable. Waking up each morning and looking out at snow-capped mountains and Kachemak Bay was one of the highlights of my entire Alaska trip. The setting felt peaceful, private, and quintessentially Alaskan.
You can tell Evelyn genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a beautiful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Homer."
"If you run into issues when it comes time to check in using expedia like I did, simply call the office number and they will happily get you sorted out."
"Place was clean but because of staff not showing up not. Cleaned day 2. Some staff very helpful some not. I would recommend it. Served our needs well"
"Very nice hotel, probably the nicest in the area. Very modern and well kept. The bathrooms are a little strange - the shower has a floor made of wooden planks that aren’t"
