Beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, beautiful beach, and an adorable beach dog that hangs out there.
Staff helped my partner prepare a birthday surprise for me. They did a great job.
Best beach hotel in Yucatan. The service is very friendly while maintaining a feeling of privacy. The beach is gorgeous with very few people around. Great food and super cute rooms
This hotel is amazing. Since we arrived, we were impressed by each detail. Staff is very friendly, especially Josue who is at the bar. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. Beach area is great for relaxing and resting. Food was excellent (dinner and breakfast)
This is the most peaceful place. Negrita the dog made it special too. The food and service was exquisite. I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be back. So remote barely any people. I’m reborn. So grateful to have this experience.
If you're looking for a quiet place to relax in peace, you found the perfect spot. Approx 8-10 rooms (mini bungalows of glamping) directly on the beach. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Service is very good, there must be as many employees as guests.
Food is excellent, we really enjoyed our breakfasts!
Weekends are filling up and the 10 beds on the beach will be taken as people would come to spend the day but weekdays are very quiet.
This small themed property turned out to be such a gem. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and it was explained we would not have technology in our room because the focus was our relaxation. At first, we weren’t sure we would be happy with this … but it was for the absolute best. We were only in our room to sleep and remainder of days were spent outdoors enjoying nature and truly feeling relaxed! We felt so well cared for - between Daniel, Manuel, Armen, the general manager (and all the staff really) … we wanted for nothing. The food was delicious. The drinks were fantastic. The service was excellent. We hope to return again next year.
Not a good place to be when it rains or any other.
Terrible stay. Rained the entire time which is not the staffs fault but there was no where to sit in your room. Hard to walk around the room and bathroom was outside which was a very humid situation. Maybe good for those that enjoy his times but not worth the money. Staff was nice even the dog that stayed in the restaurant. Wi-Fi was very bad and dint work most of the time.
This place is so unique and we loved the experience overall. Very relaxing and out of the way. Good place to unwind.
It’s starting to get a bit run down but the rooms are so cool and the view from our beach front room was incredible.
We loved outdoor bathroom & the shower (great water pressure and temperature was good)
The Good stuff;
OMG the food was incredible overall!… catch of the day lightly fried was amazing!
Their burger is a must (it was recommended by other friends and yes WOW)
Ceviche- amazing!
Shrimp guacamole- fantastic!
Passionfruit margs - yummy!
The outdoor dining area is wonderful,
We enjoyed the bar, but seats hurt your bum and back after awhile.
The staff really need to up their game. Honestly except for 1 or 2 bartenders the staff barely smiled, didn’t help with our bags, the reception greeting was NOT great, we felt that we were bothering them.
Nobody told us about spa services or asked if we wanted to book anything (and we were there 2 nights). No one gave us a map or told us where everything was on the grounds we just had to walk around and figure it out.
The outdoor dining area is wonderful, but the indoor area was never set up to eat and felt like a staff area. They kept asking us if we wanted to eat in there but it was never set up.
They can work on their service overall.
Would come back for the food but not the service.
1 hr from Merida
1 hr from Merida airport
We stay for two nights. The first was in a room facing the ocean, it was pretty and comfortable, but limiting with the nearby hotel that was noisy. The second night they changed us to an interior cabin away from the noise. However the bed was extremely uncomfortable and we couldn’t wait to leave the place. The food was not very good, expensive and served cold.
Very little internet, which is fine, except for the fact that they made us pay twice for the room and we couldn’t check our files to show the receipt. They haven’t answered to our very polite request for the return of the double charge. (Is been a few days)
However nature around and architecture are beautiful.
Although all personnel were very nice and attentive and the food was good, I was disappointed at the facilities. They were very rustic. The smell of sewage and urine in my cabin was nasty. Although they cleaned it, the foul smell persisted. The deck like floor in the room and bathroom probably not very sanitary. The hotel is way overpriced for what they offer. Jose and the chef Chris very nice people. I had pasta, pizza and eggs. All very good. The continental breakfast consisted of fruit, bread, coffee or juice was also good although maybe not enough for those with big appetites. Rooms lack tv and the internet was spotty in my room. Pillows had mold, probably due to the humidity. The beach area was nice and they rake the seaweed daily.
This is unique beach resort. Not for everyone, but if you need three days of exclusion on a beautiful beach with a funky and welcoming space, this is a great bet. I’d go back just for that reason!
Incredible place- welcoming, relaxing, beautiful, very quiet with attentive service and good food. Could not be any closer to the water-the door of my little casita was only 50 feet from the Gulf. Beach chairs, beach beds, beach service available. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and time with the sea, this is a perfect spot!
Nice remote hotel.
You truly get disconnected since signal in the area is poor and so is their wifi.
The installations look nice but their staff could benefit from some training. They are a bit slow and not as "service"-like as you get in other hotels in the area.
Renting a car is recommended, since there are no taxis or uber in the area, and they charge high for them to take to you nearby areas.
