"Mansion Merida is a real gem. The converted mansion is so lovely, they serve a great breakfast in the central courtyard and our room was very comfortable. The staff is the perfect mix of professional, attentive and friendly - they scheduled tours and made us feel right at home. The owner, Raul, is very hands on and greeted guests every day. The location on a cute square just a block from the cathedral square and two from the Park Santa Lucia is central to the city sites. We lived Mansion Merida...

"We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light. "

"We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!! "

"This place is yet another hidden gem in the beautiful city of Merida! Right on the main gastronomic district street (Calle 47) near Centro and Paseo de Montejo. It was a tranquil and beautiful oasis. Walking distance to all the great restaurants like Oliva Enoteca, 130 Grados, and more! Sorry I don't have names of the staff but all were fantastic!"
