"Professional staff, clean spacious room, Mountain View with noise from road. Terrace overlooking lake was perfect for pre dinner drinks and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful when deciding on food choices. Overall a good stay on the lake."

"The deluxe room was very clean and had 2 small balconies and a very comfortable bed. The view across the lake was fabulous. Air conditioning was a must as every day was the mid to upper 30’sC. The breakfast buffet was okay…fruit, yogurt etc good but I would avoid the scrambled eggs.. they seemed to be reconstituted…and, as near always in Europe, the bacon was only partially cooked. I would not recommend dinner. The pool area was very good albeit there is the usual scramble for places and music more suited to a disco rather than having a relaxing chill by the pool! Perhaps it’s my age! The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The staff was top notch and takes care of you across the board. Everyone treated you better the we were at the Ritz Carlton. The property was clean and had great historical charm. Easy 10 out of 10, nicest hotel experience we ever had in Europe."

"Nice clean and quiet hotel. Located very close to the lakes edge. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good in the morning with plenty of choice. There is also an indoor pool. The absolute godsend in the hot/sticky weather was the use of the outdoor pool at the sister hotel. The hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Stresa. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a lovely walk along the lakes edge into Stresa."
