8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1001)
"Decent hotel, friendly staff, and close to freeway for an easy travel stop. Fast food was the only walkable choice for dinner. Our room needs an update: main and bathroom doors won’t close without force, bathroom hooks fall off, mattress old, TV screen has image burn, and the furniture is worn and dated. "

Rodeway Inn Near University-Gateway to Yosemite
2.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (55)
"The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. There’s some noise from the highway- ear plugs took care of that. The breakfast was just cereal and packaged pastries, which gave us the perfect excuse to go out for breakfast. Highly recommend Toni’s Courtyard Cafe in Merced. Great eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. "
