Top Mequon Hotel Reviews
Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in room 213 and it was a very nice room. The building is well maintained, and the staff are very friendly, no energy of attitude at all. The Gin Rickey has very good food. Sunday - Thursday you can buy a Gin rickey and get the second drink for 1920's prices, in the main floor there is a listing of the cost of drinks from the early 1900's which is interesting. Old school elevators, definitely deco of the 1920's. The room was very nice, very clean and no ripped dry paper or the impression that the rooms are not well maintained. The rooms do not have cable; they do have Apple tv which you have to log into your streaming account not a big deal you just have to remember to log out. Be careful when going into the shower, it's slippery and I almost fell on my face. The room I was in, did not have a microwave. I'm not going to lie, before you walk into this place, the soundings area is very ghetto looking but once you step into this place, it's a very differently feel. Parking is $30 a night in the hotel but you can park on the side streets for a maximum of 3 night, you can call it in or visit https://city.milwaukee.gov/Parking/ParkingPermits/Online-Night-Parking-Permission-Request They have a shuttle bus that will take you into downtown, but a club called the Rave is across the street. I will visit this place again but probably upgrade to a higher floor or a higher amenity room."
