"10 out of 10. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was spacious and always had hot water. The food was simple, fresh and delicious. Mimpi Resort Menjangan

"A wonderful resort. Our villa with hot spring was divine. Spacious, private and the bed was incredible. Set in beautiful gardens, there is a spa, gym and beautiful pools. The staff are incredible and breakfasts are excellent- we had several meals and the prices are very reasonable. There is jetty for tour boat pick up and drop off and snorkelling Menjangen is highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay at Mimpi and will definitely stay afain."

Sumberkima Hill Private Villa Retreat

"This was just the most perfect place to stay for us. Everything is, as described. The staff were amazing, made us feel so welcome and were always so helpful. The villa was clean and so was the whole site. Restaurants were very reasonably priced and the food was amazing. You are added to a WhatsApp group on arrival and reception are so helpful, arranging all our transport when needed and a free shuttle to the local shops and around the site if needed. The infinity pools had the most beautiful views as did the two restaurants. The views from the villas, just beautiful. The spa was lovely and the massages so good! We don’t usually go back to somewhere we have visited, but we will be going back here for sure. You are completely out the way of life, surrounded by nature but not far from everywhere you want to go. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be going back! Thank you for a magical couple of weeks."

"A very peaceful and comfortable stay at a quiet and relaxed location. Staff were just lovely, room was unique and comfortable and although the location is remote, it was just what we needed to help us relax. Pool amenities were lovely too. I would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing location."

"Our stay at Munduk Plantation Nature Resort was nothing short of perfect. If you're looking for a private, luxurious experience set in the mountainous jungle of north Bali, this is it. Our pool villa included the attentive services of Leo, our butler. Leo kindly arranged breakfast each morning, brought to our villa, as well as scheduled various nature treks, dinners, yoga, and spa treatments for us. We had regular friendly communication with him via WhatsApp. Leo's welcoming nature made our stay truly a home. Other wonderful and attentive staff included Nia and Juni at the Balinese restaurant on site and Roni who collected us from the airport and drove us to our next hotel in Ubud. All staff made us feel like nothing was too much to ask, and we genuinely felt sad saying goodbye."

"Stephanie at breakfast is an absolute gem! By the time I left, she felt like a friend. It's a plus that she's bilingual in German! Augus, who makes the omelets at breakfast, already knew my order by my second morning. I walked over to order my omelet, and he had already started it. That level of attention to detail is astounding. Gedday, the gardener, speaks better English than a lot of people who work in reception at other hotels. He's also a kind, lovely man. Free yoga every morning was wonderful! I could go on and on about how special this property is. Beautiful beachfront location. Live music at dinner every night. Phenomenal staff. Great breakfast."
