"Amy at the front was great, super kind and accommodating. The interior and exterior are immaculate. But unfortunately the light in my room kept turning on, on its own accord no matter how many times I turned it off. The lock on the front door wouldn’t lock behind me until it decided to, and getting into the room was difficult. The keypad would take 4-5 tries before it would decide to acknowledge the buttons I was pressing in the correct order each time. It would time out. There’s 4 locks on the door but the ones that work weren’t pointed out to me, which are metal latches at the top and bottom but the typical locks on the handle aren’t functional. I genuinely feel for this price, we could’ve done better and I truly feel this place is amazing and I would return if these issues were fixed. I don’t want to discredit this place, it’s truly one step away from being phenomenal but some money needs to be put into maintenance. So accommodating and kind. Would truly do anything for the patrons at the hotel"

"My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. I’m looking forward to staying there again."

"Check-in was a total disaster. Never received check-in information. No key no codes no one available to call. After being let into the property by other guests we saw a number to call in the garage if there are problems. Not an experience one would expect for the high cost. Yes nice ocean view and pool. Boy only if you can get in. "
