"This was a very nice hotel in the heart of Mekelle. From the front desk to the restaurant, the staff knows what they are doing and everyone was nice and very helpful. It’s not the newest hotel in Tigray, but it’s clean, comfortable, and safe. If you go during Timket make sure your room faces the street to see the procession. Had a wonderful experience. "

Martyrs Memorial Monument in Ethiopia . This monument was built in memory for those who died during Derg regime in Ethiopia . The monument meaning is at the bottom Ethiopia was great and strong and when it's getting narrow it was Derg regime . And at the top it shows fallen regime and Ethiopia reborn again . Mekele is town in north if you plan visit Danakil depression or Gheralta churches you will visit this town and I am strongly recommend visit this monument and near monument there is museum as well . Please check my other photos from Danakil depression and Gheralta churches . I there spent there few months if you have any questions you can ask me too . #details
