What made our experience even more memorable were the wonderful connections we made leaving us feeling as though we had made lasting friendships! And the views... absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to the stunning Swiss Alps each morning felt like something out of a dream. It was easily our favorite part of the hotel, and a view we will never forget. Breakfast each morning was such a pleasant experience an we also thoroughly enjoyed our multi course dinner experience at the hotel. Our room was quaint, cozy, and full of historic charm. Intercontinental breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, sauna/steam room."

"Beautiful property and I’d likely stay again. Just some simple things for them to adjust. We travelled for 10 days to different cities. This was the first hotel which did not have the sofa bed ready when we checked in. No big deal, they turned down the bed after I asked. Unfortunately sofa bed itself was in poor condition. The second night, I asked them for a mattress topper which they provided. Rooms are very nice but some of the light switches did not work and some bulbs were burnt out. Lastly, we were traveling with our teenage daughter. Our bathroom did not have a door which meant dad had to leave the room when she needed to shower. A bit odd that they would have put us in that style room (couples room) - or at least have it mentioned somewhere during booking or checkin. Other than that, beautiful property, nice staff and convenient to have a shuttle van to the station. Although on my y a few minutes walk from Grindelwald station - uphill."
