"Lovely stay in this cosy hotel. The pool and breakfast in neighboring spa/hotel was also wonderful. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was a bit outdated and it would be wonderful if the room came with AC or at least a fan. It can get quite hot in the summer. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel."

"If you come on a Wednesday, be careful: the hotel and restaurant are closed and the number on the notice at the door doesn’t work. I was on a cycling tour and had already called the number on the confirmation (which does work) to say I would be arriving at 8.30. Ringing back on arrival I got step by step instructions how to get in and find the room, all in my school German. The restaurant was in the evening shut so no food. "Die „Villa“ liegt auf dem Grundstück des Konsum Hotels. Man ist gezwungen je Nacht 18€ Parkgebühren zu entrichten, da es in Oberhof Folklore ist jedes Grundstück abzusperren. Freie Parkplätze gibt es daher nicht. Das Zimmer war ok. In der 2. Nacht war allerdings kein Strom da. Ab 20 Uhr gibt es kein Personal mehr auf der Anlage. Also musste der Schein des Fernsehers reichen. Der ging noch. "
