A wonderful little hotel with lovely, friendly staff and a well maintained beach area. The location is within a reasonable distance of and with easy public transport links to Stresa and Arona, both totally worth a day trip!

We had an excellent time at Bel Sit. The hotel is very well maintained and located right at the Lago with private access to the lake. The staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the sun downer on the terrace and the breakfast looking at the sunrise. We will be back!

The price/quality ratio for this hotel is exceptional: the room was very spacious with a small terrace overlooking the lake, the room was quiet, the hotel has beautiful a terrace where you can take the breakfast or a drink from the bar. It was very clean and functional, and the staff is very attentive. Truly a pleasant surprise.

Small boutique hotel with amazing lake from restaurant and some rooms. The downside is luck of privacy. The rooms on the 1st floor goes directly to the pool area, and other guests are walking past your room all the time, so it is impossible to open the door, or window to enjoy the view. Other rooms saving the road and they are quite noisy. There only 2 suites that have privacy and view, and smaller rooms on level 2 ( around 5( are private enough. The plus they have a private beach.

Decent location with a distant lake view and a community pool right outside the rooms. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by a broken air conditioner. We spent the night sweating and battling mosquitoes, unable to sleep until 4 AM. The hotel staff didn’t offer a proper solution and denied any fault, even though their own front desk couldn’t fix the issue in the middle of the night. Disappointing experience.

Spent three days at the Bel Sit in mid-September. We were in one of the two first floor suites. The rooms were large and comfortable, albeit the layout a bit unusual. Nice bathroom and the "magic" shower is effective and somewhat entertaining. The weather was turning cool and the room could have been warmer at night. Most appreciated at the property is the staff and the view. On your balcony, you are about twenty feet from the lapping water of the beautiful lake. The view is sensational and we were lucky to have a full moon rise over the lake one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A local note. Not sure you could do much without a car. Parking was available and convenient without many guests in the hotel. We greatly enjoyed a visit to the palace and gardens on one of the Borromea Islands. Probably won't be back to Lake Maggiori, but if so would gladly stay again.
