"We loved our beautiful hotel in Bruges, just steps from the main square. Royals had lived in this building so it has some history. The bar, sitting areas and lobby bathrooms are beyond elegant. There are framed paintings and beautiful furnishings and lighting. You feel like you are in a palace. Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn’t try breakfast because we wanted to go find waffles instead. The spa rooms would be better if they were located in a more quiet area instead of next to the gym. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean and tidy albeit quite compact. Great location. We went during the festival so when we went down for breakfast, it was rather chaotic and we did have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get a table which wasn't ideal, as it was so busy. There was some food that needed topping up and there wasn't really a lot of choice. Although the staff were doing their best to clean the tables and keep on top of everything. They do have a room to store luggage like most hotels, but also they have lockers within that room that you can pay for so you have peace of mind that your valuables are secure."

"This hotel has a rich history spanning centuries. The building is very well preserved and cared for. It’s beautiful and elegant. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful a d friendly. The food is excellent. Everything about this place oozes elegance and charm. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back."

"The hotel was very well located. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was nice and spacious and we didn’t hear any noises from other guests whilst in our room. The breakfast was very nice and the attention to detail by the staff to make sure that everything was well presented and maintained, even having the proseco out for breakfast was a nice touch and very refreshing to see. Perhaps a few more hot foods would be nice but that’s just a minor detail. We would definitely stay here again."
