"I stayed for two nights over July 4 and thought the hotel was a really good find. On the Delaware River, next to a park, apartment style rooms, on site parking. i would stay here again. It is listed as part of a casino but that isnt on site and a shuttle can take you there on request. Apparently the property didn't allow kids but it does now. That hasnt caught on yet and my stay was quiet and peaceful. I thought I had purchased a park view room but was placed in a room with no way to see out at first. Fortunately the AC wasn't working in that room and the staff quickly placed me in the park facing room I thought I had booked. The room was lovely. I was able to watch july 4th fireworks from My room. I recommend that they develop the river side of the property; pay attention to the wear and tear on the rooms when they are minor and entertain at least on on-site tea- coffee house- and bar- though the casino apparently has all of those things. breakfast was not up to snuff. "

"I was very impressed with this La Quinta experience. I’ve heard of not so go experiences and have had my own La Quinta experiences that have lead me to not want to stay yet I gave the Mt Laurel location a shot and I am so impressed and glad that I did. I will stay at this location again in the future."

"This is a wonderful period correct boutique hotel. With an excellent restaurant attached to it. The room was very clean, very comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. While the elevator was a bit slow, it seemed to be fitting of a period hotel situated, ideally, in the old section of Philadelphia, with convenient walking distance access to Penn's Landing, the ferry to New Jersey and many of the cultural and historic attractions in that part of the city"
