"We loved our stay. Only feedback is we ended up with so many clean towels we had no where to put them. Haha what a problem to have. Thanks for the stay, we will be back for more of those warmed cookies."
"The hotel and standard room presented well. The room was comfortable. Lounge area comfortable. Good service when using room service. Overall very good but some issues as below:
Shower: no shower screen and the water for tall people ends up all over bathroom floor. Towels needed to soak it all up. Very unpleasant. They actually have a screen on the toilet instead of the shower.
Breakfast: The breakfast had a great selection but as a vegetarian I didn’t love the hot options. The mushrooms too heavily coated in herbs, no baked beans (house ones only), no hash browns first three days (did have potato gems). The eggs were cooked really well and the coffee and eggs to order were a nice touch.
Parking: this is terrible. It is called valet parking but there is nowhere for the valet to meet you and take your car. You have to find a council car spot on the street and then tell the valet where it is. We didn’t find a spot nearby so parked in Woolworths round the block during day and on street at night. No charge on street on a Sunday all day. Was much easier to use our own system this way than the so called valet parking. Saves you lots of money too."
"Communication was excellent and very helpful from the host.
We were advised by email that as it was off season not much would be open and there is no petrol station.
She explained that we could purchase supplies and petrol from New Norfolk.
The house was spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen.
There is a reverse cycle air conditioner which did heat up the lounge and kitchen area very well.
However, we would like to suggest another a/c be installed in the main bedroom.
The bed had electric blankets and we were very warm.
Parking was free and we were able to park the car in front of the house.
The property is located close to Mt Field and many beautiful walks.
Thank you for a lovely stay."
