"We stayed here for two nights over the July 4th holiday weekend. Felt lucky to find an affordable place when we were planning our trip. The location is right on the main road and it was pretty easy to get here from Madison and Monona over the two days. The hotel property is clean and well maintained, although there was a faint antiseptic odor every time we entered. And there was a touch of humidity. I know it was a hot spell outside but it felt borderline damp inside. Still we enjoyed our two nights in the room, which was spacious and comfortable. And the complimentary breakfast was pretty decent. Affordable room rate. Free parking."

"Staff were all very helpful, proving me with utensils when our delivery order didn't provide them, and allowed me to stay an extra hour after check out. Granted it was a Tuesday, and not a weekend, so I am not sure that option is always available. Rooms a little aged, and needed a little more lighting. I used the fitness room, but there was no cleaning supplies for when done. I left a mat out to show it was used to see if it would be cleaned and put away, and it was still out the following day. And I was looking forward to the hot tub and it was out if order, which I do believe had just happened, so it was unfortunate, but I don't think it had been down long."
