Hyatt Place Cincinnati / Sharonville Convention Center
8/10 Good
"We just wrapped up a two-night stay here, and it was a solid choice for our family of six. Finding accommodations that comfortably fit all of us can be a challenge, but the connecting rooms were perfect for our setup. It gave us the space we needed while keeping everyone together.
A few highlights from our stay:
Family Favorites: The kids were obsessed with the spa shower—it was a nice touch that felt a bit more premium than your standard hotel bathroom.
Breakfast & Location: The breakfast was good and provided a great start to our mornings. The location was also very favorable for getting around the area.
Service: The staff deserves a shout-out. Everyone we encountered was nice and incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
The only real downside was the pool area. We found the pool wasn't very clean, and even though it's indoors, the water wasn't heated, which made it a bit too chilly for the kids to truly enjoy.
Despite the pool situation, it was a great stay overall. We really value experiences over material things, and this hotel provided a comfortable, stress-free home base for our family to explore and enjoy our time together. We’d definitely recommend it for families looking for a functional and friendly place to stay."
"Beautiful rooms with modern amenities, lots of space, and historic touches. It was perfect staying here while my daughter had a wrestling tournament across the street. Very convenient. With the onsite bar and restaurant, it's a nice place to stay for any purpose. "

10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean, staffs were helpful, love their pool, spacious parking, so far of all hotels we've been to their breakfast is my top. Love that they still have the microwave which lots of leading hotels remove from their rooms. Our first experience was great, but probably due to spring break the second time was not, kids were extremely loud at the hallway running, screaming and so on (up until 2am then 4am until we checkout. Their main elevator was making weird, freaky sounds, some washer and dryer (they have multiple) doesn't seem to work fine (they don't fill enough water as in some clothes didn't even got wet at all), I also used 2 different dryers as the first one doesn't seems to do the job well (might need some cleaning maintenance or whatever), no hot tub. But other than that I like it. We will definitely consider this place to stay in again when we get back in the area."
"The shower was questionable for cleanliness. When I checked in I was never asked for my ID just to verify my card number on file. Not asking for my ID made me question safety, because if you didn't ask for my ID during check in what if someone asked for my a "lost" room key and then ID still wasnt checked and a key was issued? "
"The staff was very nice and I did lick you were able to make your own breakfast sandwich .One of the only things I didn't like was kids in the breakfast are without adult supervision."
"We had a great stay, yes, the presidential suite is maybe a bit dated -BUT- that took nothing away from the stay itself. The staff we interacted with were friendly. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again. "
"While the people who checked me in were friendly, the state of the hotel was not good. There was water damage in and on the walls in multiple places including my room which had stains from ceiling to halfway down the wall. The state of the hallway carpets did not look as if they had been cleaned in quite some time and indeed, the towels left outside a room door on my floor on the day of my check-in were there when I checked out. The floors in my room had not been vacuumed and debris from the ceiling was in various places. The couch in my room was also stained. The furniture was quite worn and beaten up as well. The bed, however was comfortable.
Lastly, the website marketing was misleading. The descriptions did not accurately describe the room and the pictures showed rooms that were in better state, with furniture that was not present in the room, and in general a cleaner condition. Overall, the cost of the room did not match what was provided in terms of written and visual information.
In general, I don't write reviews, but I know I would not stay at this hotel again and I would recommend people look elsewhere for accommodations. There were better options in the same general area which looked to be in better shape. "
