"Rooms were clean and equipped but did not smell fresh and airy. The lighting in halls were very dim. The night crew were not friendly. When i asked for a simple block to charge my phone he hurried me off phone saying he couldn’t help me cause they don't have chargers. I had to leave out during the night to purchase one and then to return to room and realize usb was already available in the room. This was same person who checked me in and he was not friendly or inviting at all. Although its not his fault i didn’t see usb because i was exhausted and just came to rest and get sleep he could have made my stay much better with a simple smile when checking in and saying we do have usb in our rooms. He was too busy using his charged phone to be kind to me."

"Overall, this property checks all the boxes: The property is well maintained, beautiful lobby area and views of the boardwalk. It's within walking distance of several restaurants with a variety of foods to choose from, however we did not find a breakfast place close by. This is also within a 10 minute drive to the Truliant Ampitheater. The staff was professional and pleasant. There were only two minor drawbacks: We wanted to take a look at the pool, but our key wouldn't work. When we asked the front desk representative, we were told that the pool does not open until after Memorial Day. Also, the morning of our departure, the lawn care service started edging before 7am. Because our room faced the parking lot, it sounded like the edger was in our room! This action didn't seem to take the guests into consideration. Despite these two minor inconveniences, we would definitely stay here again!"

"I wanna begin this review by saying that GWL Concord would probably be a really nice property for families with children, as long as the adults are OK with slumming it a little bit, every child we saw there was having an incredible time. 1. Information- we called a few times leading up to our stay to confirm, property details and policy. When we arrived, we were informed that all of that was incorrect and the phone team is often wrong, but we made all of our travel plans around that team feedback. 2. Customer Service- we had two check-in experiences. The first one was quite awful, the young lady could not offer any solutions and her only answer to all of our questions was to download the app. We waited it out a couple of hours, and then our second associate was much more helpful and told us they’re actually was a room available and it had been for quite some time, proving that the first girl was in fact lying to us. 3. Amenities - the only things provided are a small bar of hand soap, and then a combo shampoo/conditioner, and a body gel in the shower. No shower caps, no Q-tips. 4. The app- once you arrive on site, every employee tells you it is mandatory to download the app. There are literally no paper copies available, and nine times out of 10 when you ask a team member for assistance they direct you back to the app. I understand it’s for children, we didn’t pick it as our first choice, but the staff made it very clear that we were not the ideal guest or welcome"
