"We had an mazing stay! Absolutely loved the pool, decor, breakfast buffet and convenient location. The property has plenty of free parking! Our room was a bit musty but understandable due to the humidity and the floors could use a polishing. Our AC worked beautifully and the room was spacious. Really enjoyed everything about our two nights here."

"I loved everything about this place! The staff is incredible - especially Javier and Flor. The electricity and WiFi went out due to the thunderstorms but they had a generator and I appreciated being disconnected tbh."

"Location was good, condition of the hotel was well maintained, there was convenient on-site free parking and the staff were attentive. The downside was the power cuts that we experienced in the two afternoons when we were in the hotel. Both were due to heavy rain affecting the electricity provider's old infrastructure. The first afternoon was only for a few minutes, but the second afternoon was for three hours. We did speak to management about potentially cancelling our stay, but fortunately the electricity came back on before we had to move. The Holiday Inn was not the only hotel affected, but it did affect our stay."

"Our room was cleaned daily for our 6 night stay. Staff made sure to keep the AC on for our return to the room which was very appreciated by my kids who were dying with the Merida heat. The pool was closed for 2 days which was not ideal but other than that this was a great place to stay at."
