I had an excellent stay here for several nights. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious, both Asian and Western food. Mattress, air-Con, TV, shower, all clean, comfortable and no problems. All the staff were helpful and at least one spoke good English. At one point I needed to see a doctor, and one of them drove me to a local doctor who spoke English. Help booking my tickets as well. It is not far from several restaurants, including one that offered a local ethnic Mon cooking class, which was fun. I was very impressed and highly recommend the hotel.

It was a last minute choice to to to mawlamine. We got there around 5pm checking out the next day (3 rooms). They were nice enough to change my room from double to twins ( offered to pay the difference).all three rooms were dark. I wiped a thick layer of dust on the tables, toilet was not against the wall but middle of the bathroom, no curtains for the shower (but really great water pressure and hot water). Mosquitoes everywhere not a few but tons. I slept with my blanket over my head. For the price I paid, wouldn’t go back again. Decent location.

Okay, great staff and breakfast

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, even though almost no English is spoken. The breakfast is more than great!!! The staff can arrange to rent a bike, which is very convenient, as the hotel is 15 minutes drive away from Strand road and Pagodas (but "only" 30 from the huge reclining Buddha, which was convenient for us, as we went there twice for the monk statues in the green). There is no food or drinks sold in the hotel, there is no garden to sit outside, but it has a small pool. The rooms are smaller than expected with no view. There are a few restaurants around the corner.
