"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. "Excellent hotel in a stunning location We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with wild dolphins — absolutely well worth doing and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely recommend spending the extra for an ocean view room; waking up to that view really added something special to our stay. The restaurant was very good overall, although a few more themed evenings would be welcome, especially for guests staying for two weeks or longer. The staff were amazing, particularly in the restaurant. They shared great tips about the island, made us laugh, and even brought us bowls of fresh lychees at breakfast — such a lovely touch. A special thank you to Cindy and Viswanee for making our stay even more memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel."
