Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The whole property was spotless, the facilities were beautiful, the room was probably the nicest one we have ever stopped in, furnished to an extremely high standard and so comfortable. Honestly, don’t even think about looking for somewhere else in the area…you will not find better!! Oh yes, the homemade marmalade at breakfast is to die for too!!!

From start to finish our stay was wonderful. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic room and ensuite was nearly as big. Our breakfast was exceptional and we would have no hesitation in recommending this super dog friendly establishment Crofthead B&B ...we will return..

Jerry was very helpful with suggestions for tourism and dining. Food was excellent, room was beautiful, shower was great and unlike most accommodations in Scotland, they provided wash cloths!!!!! Definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay! Reasonably priced as well!

The facility is wonderful and Nicola and Gerry are fabulous. So personal and offering of places to see. Would recommend this place to everyone who is anywhere near the area.

Great start to our holiday.

Lovely stay with fabulous hosts. Breakfast choice and execution was excellent. Room was clean and spacious with large bathroom. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, highlight was meeting all the owners dogs! Would love to revisit if we travel to the area again.

Wonderful B&B

This is a wonderful B&B. The couple who run it are excellent hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was very clean, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We didn't want to leave! The breakfast is delicious, with fresh local produce and even eggs from their own chickens. Homemade jams are lovely and the portions are generous, you won't go hungry and we didn't need any lunch. This B&B is also dog friendly which is great to find, so we could all go on holiday. The hosts also love the dogs making them very welcome. Highly recommended and we will be back for more.

We had a lovely stay at Crofthead with a spacious room and bath, excellent breakfast and an added bonus of cuddle time with our hosts’ adorable puppies. Everything was very clean and orderly which we very much appreciated. The view from our bedroom window was spectacular and the resident chickens were fun to watch. Our hosts made us feel quite at home and even called a local restaurant to make dinner reservations for us. If there was a grade above A we would give it to Crofthead!

The warmest of welcomes!

Such a lovely stay from start to finish. Friendly, sociable owners and a spotless room contributed to a very comfortable stay. They are very dog-friendly, including treats and a breakfast sausage! I would stay here again if I get the opportunity to be in the area. I came home with a delicious jar of homemade marmalade :-)

Spectacular

Absolutely fabulous stay at this boutique B&B. The owners are lovely and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is 5 star and one of the best places we stayed during our Scotland tour. The local Black Bull is a great choice for dinner and wonderful food. Highly recommended.

Staying at the Crofthead Farm House has restored my faith in UK B&B’s. Staying during Covid-19 restrictions, we were one of only two parties staying at the property to help manage isolation. The room was immaculate, breakfast excellent, and the welcome could not have been warmer. To cap it all the collection of fabulous dogs living. there made my son’s morning. We will definitely be back and I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly.
