Good for the price. The room was a bit small for 2 with large suitcases but overall comfortable. The free breakfast is quite basic but nice to have. Excellent location, close to the station and main city sights, also some good restaurants and bars nearby.

Non english speaking but with Google translate we could manage. Room very tiny and walls thin so you can hear people next door. Breakfast free bit vey Japanese so choice for europeans not good. Check in confusing due to lack of communication but we eventually got there. Busy hotel in good location but can't recommend.

Great central location in Matsumoto! Staff was wonderful despite language barriers. If booking economy, the room had no window view of anything but the service stairwell, and the elevator hum was noticeable 24/7.

Excellent hotel on a budget. Room is clean and size is just nice for Japan standard. Check in and check out were very fast with machine. Breakfast was mainly Japanese food. Toiletries and tea powder were placed in the lobby for self service. Good Japanese system but must get used to it. Overall, it is an excellent hotel.

No customer service in this hotel!

Customer service is not provided or offered in this hotel. Customers do the check in and checkout themselves on a machine and if you arrive 10 or 15 minutes earlier from check-in time (3pm) you are told to wait until check-in time. No appreciation how far you've come from you have to wait! And this is the service in this hotel. Only water is free everything else you pay. Not for Europeans this hotel ☝️
