"Property perfectly sited in heart of Mastichari. Welcome at airport by Michael and son. No criticism whatsoever as they made us feel welcome. Problem is with the local authorities who for many years have allowed the area around the pier to smell strongly of raw sewage. I feel very sorry for owners such as Michael who, try their best but seem to be hampered by a local authority who do not care."

"We booked a twin bedded studio with kitchen area. We were given a tiny dark room with one bed and a balcony facing an internal courtyard and staff’s homes. We asked numerous times for the room we had paid for and finally moved 24 hours later. This room was still nothing like the photos on Expedia and the air conditioning was broken. "I absolutely loved my stay at Aphrodite Studios with hosts Danielle and Herre, as well as their beautiful daughter Flo. I was welcomed as if part of the family and felt very much at home. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The space is perfectly located, just outside of Masouri with views of Telendos. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and I enjoyed breakfast in the morning in the common patio conversing with Danielle and Herre. I would highly recommend Aphrodite Studios...

"Ideally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the harbour front where there is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, pool is great, the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with being updated and the owners who took the hotel over recently recognise this and said it will be done soon. I will definitely stay there again. "

Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. "This place is perfect in every way. It’s clean, comfortable, the staff are lovely, laundry room which is great touch when you’re island hopping. Great food, breakfast and cocktails and perfect location. I couldn’t fault a single thing. I would of happily stayed forever. "

"A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"Nektarios is a wonderful host for his hotel! He was available to check us in super late (thanks to the late ferry from Kos) and had fresh fruit, water, and wine waiting for us. The wifi was strong and the room was beautiful and clean, with daily housekeeping included.
